Bloodmire

Bloodmire, or Ytharior as it was once known, was the site of one of the many battles between the ice troll, frost troll, and frost giant tribes that dwell in the Paraelemental Plane of Ice many, many years ago; by far, however, the incident here was and is the largest such known from their long feud. Found in a chamber deep within the Core Ice, far from any of the border regions, today this area can only be described as a lake of frozen blood. Many of those that fought so long ago in fact froze solid before dying in battle, their immobile bodies held still in the carnage, many frozen in the midst of a charge; all hold looks of rage on their faces and weapons in their hands, of course. Today, it's described by many as a disturbing blend of utter horror and grisly beauty.
