A wood best described as "wispy", Elysian cloudpine it the lightest of easily-available woods. Similar in many respects to balsa wood, cloudpine is a bit lighter, and more purely white in color. It's quite weak, of course, breaking into splinters with just about any amount of appreciable impact.
