A term amongst fiends used to refer to those of their kind born live from other fiends, rather than spawned from petitioners or their plane (also known as "deadborn").  Usually derisive, due to the common belief that those born in such a manner are less skilled due to their lesser age experience compared to other fiends of their caste, as well as the similar belief that, given their lack of spiritual origin and avoidance of the culling process most fiends go through, they are less representative of their race's incarnate nature.
