Roll a d6 to determine the stat hit, and take 1d6 ability damage to the chosen stat as you find yourself torn between two separate incarnations of yourself, strange memories of things which never happened flooding your mind.  If you are killed by this ability, you are erased from existence and immediately arise as a temporal stalker; those outside the Demiplane of Time have no memory of you ever having existed, and only a ''wish'' or ''miracle'' can reverse this.
