The elemental lords are the four greater powers that claim dominion over the Elemental Planes; Akadi of Air, Grumbar of Earth, Kossuth of Fire, and Istishia of Water. All four of these gods tend to be distant, more concerned with matters of elemental import than beyond. Worship of these gods is fairly limited compared to their strengths, focused mainly on their home planes and the Prime; Toril especially has a high concentration of followers of the elemental lords, given its pantheon's fairly open policy regarding godly access. These gods tend to care little for the actions of other gods, including one another, though each does have a fairly strong degree of enmity towards the lord of their opposing element.
